Support the Jason Gossard Memorial Christmas Train in York, PA
This holiday season we will be participating in a collection for the Jason Gossard Memorial Christmas Train through December 3rd for our third year in a row. The donated gifts and items will go to less fortunate families this holiday season.
Employees and clients of Sun Motor Cars are invited to donate unwrapped gift/toy items by placing them in the collection boxes which will be set up in each store (including the Collision Center). There is an attached list of the items being requested for donation. Please ensure your donations are brought in by the deadline so there is time to prepare the gifts for the families for the holidays. “Jason Gossard was a loving husband and wonderful father to Makaylee and JJ. He coached football, basketball, baseball, and softball through East Pennsboro Youth Athletic League (EPYAL). He passed away unexpectedly on January 4, 2017. Courtney, Makaylee, and JJ would love to help these families have a great Christmas in his honor.” This is the sixth year the Christmas Train has been going on in Jason’s honor and this holiday season over 100 kids will be benefiting from the donations given.
- TOYS: craft kits--any age, board games-any age, barbies, spiderman, chalk, basketball, baseball, soccer ball, legos, mini brands, LOL dolls, playdoh, monster high dolls, crayons, canvasses, paints, art supplies, baby dolls, nerf guns, rubik’s cube, RC car, fidget spinners, books
- TOILETRIES: deodorant, body sprays--boys and girls, body wash, shampoo/conditioner, makeup – palettes, brushes, lip products, nail polish, fuzzy socks
- OTHER NEEDS: warm blankets, socks-any size/boys or girls, underwear-any size/boys or girls, mittens/gloves, winter hats
- NON-PERISHABLE FOODS: flour, sugar, peanut butter & jelly (plastic jars only), cookie mix, cake mix, frosting, oatmeal, cereal, granola bars, applesauce (plastic jars only), canned vegetables, canned soup, canned tuna pasta, pasta sauce (plastic jars only), rice, mac n cheese, crackers, graham crackers, marshmallows, candy canes, hot chocolate mix, bags of holiday chocolates
